There will come a time when we will need something much greater than ourselves. Something that provides the foundation, the wisdom we need to navigate our times of testing. Many think today that if they search the world, they will find that peace, that knowledge. They seek in vain.
God’s word is the lamp unto feet and the only light unto our lives that matters. I see comparisons galore as mankind offers up the latest and most innovating ideas to try and match God’s glory. Only one place where you will find the power, the love and the majesty to accomplish what is needed in our lives. He is perfect but loving, flawless but knows every hurt. There is One we can run to and obtain the refuge that saves our soul.
