Strength and power have long been two attributes that we associate with the ability to accomplish tasks and to be able to overcome trials in our lives. Our society values power and strength and they are sought after by many as the way to succeed. Of course, God views the application of strength and power differently than we do here in the world.
God’s focus is on weary among us, he looks to help the weak. While the world casts the weary and weak aside, God has special plans for them. He gives strength to the weary and power to the weak!
Think on this for a second. When we are weary and weak, that is the exact time God makes provision for strength to continue in our lives and power to overcome our times of trouble.
Our weakness draws God closer to us for then we depend on Him not ourselves. Find yourself weary and beat down, call upon the Lord to renew you!
