When we consider what we will truly need for the upcoming year, we can build a list that both shows our flesh and our faith. When we ponder things of wealth, material things or the physical improvements we desire, we show our human nature. When we ponder the things of the kingdom of God, we show our redeemed spirit.
I look at the verses today and find that not only will we find our spirit being fed but notice the words, “he grants the desires of those who fear him.” Those who have an abiding relationship with the Father, who revere him will find not only have their desires being dealt with but their cries for help being answered as well. Tell me that is not a formula you can embrace for your life?
