Mankind has the formula wrong when it comes to effective and successful living. The world thinks we need to renew our bodies, pay attention to the physical issues of our lives at the expense of our souls. Now we do need to live as healthy as possible and be a good stewards of the body we have been given. But we should not neglect the eternal rewards of living in the spirit.
We are told that the though we are aging, our spirits are being renewed on a daily basis. God has given us eternal spirits and we should be focusing more the development and care of our spirit lives than our physical ones. It is in the spirit of God we receive the greatest fruits for our lives now and earn our true treasures for our eternal home in heaven.
It is when we learn to live in the spirit of God that we can finally begin to understand that present troubles are truly temporary but the glory they help us produce is so much greater and lasts forever. We my friends are mindful of our trials but we should use them to become stronger in our walk and expectant of the wonderful hope of our days to come!
As the verse says, that is why we never give up! We are now made more than conquers through Christ Jesus!
