If we truly serve the Lord of Lords, then his plans for us are designed for us and are perfect for us. We must guard ourselves against the temptation to take shortcuts. Shortcuts may work on occasions in the world but will not suffice for kingdom work. We humans like to pride ourselves if we can find a quicker way, a shorter road to our goals. Those shortcuts can take many forms: shortcuts financially, shortcuts in relationships or shortcuts in faith.
If we want to achieve the goals God has given us, there can be no shortcuts. Shortcuts never bring kingdom success but bring disappointment and failed dreams. God wants to know my friends if we will do what he tells us to do. As Noah did, he did everything God commanded. As a result, he was to survive the devastation of the whole world!
God has powerful plans for us but we need to pay attention to him and obey what he tells us to do.
Within that relationship, we will find the peace, the direction and success God intended for us!
