“And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.”

I have found that I can think of things much faster than I can express them. My lovely wife has the ability or the curse to think of many different things in a very short period of time. Why am I bringing this up? Simple, what we think about drives our emotions and our actions. If we dwell on an up coming vacation, we will spend time planning and preparing for just that event.
Our faith walk is driven by what we think about, what we spend time dwelling on and planning. If our source of thoughts are like our word today says, excellent and worthy of praise, our lives are going to be enriched by what is true, what is pure, what is honorable. If we fix our mind on the kingdom of God we will have an abundance of life that is worthy of praise.
There are two fixes needed my friends. First we need to realize that there needs to a major change about what we think about. From worldly things to those pure things from the kingdom. Second, we need to fix, stay our minds on what is the real truth, the Word of God. Within his Word are simply the words and wisdom of real life. Once we fix our perspective, our attitudes, actions and substance of our lives, the fruit- the outcomes of our days will be things that are worthy of praise!
Don’t dwell today on the deception filled streets of world but on hope and glory of the kingdom of grace and mercy!
