Have you ever meet a confident person? No I really mean someone who understood the truth In their lives and stood upon that truth no matter what. Well, I think those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ ought to be such people. There is no greater truth in all creation than the God of all sent his Son to earth to die for us so we may he saved. With his sacrifice and resurrection, he took back ownership of this fallen world and provided us the way to an eternal life with the Father.
If we know this truth in our hearts, we know that someday we will be with our Lord forever. Now that should make us confident about our lives now and our lives forever more. You see there not shadow of doubt, not a trace of worry about who we are and where we are going. We are bought with a high price, now delivered into our Lord’s hands. We face a future with no pain, no suffering and one filled with unbounded joy and peace.
Let us who believe understand that someday we will be home, home with our Father who loves us beyond measure. Can you catch a glimpse of the glory that awaits us? That is why we are filled with confidence, not in ourselves but in the one who has saved us and set us free! I pray you know him today!
