There are many people who live their lives in sections. This section is my work section, this section is my educational section. Then, over here I have my social section and my spiritual section. Many think these are very different areas of their lives and they live each one differently from the others. In our word today, Paul tells us that God makes everything work out for his plan for us. That plan encompasses our entire life not just one section of it.
Our lives are the sum total of all that we do, work, school or church. God’ command to us was to first love our Lord with all our heart, mind and soul. That means that every facet of our lives has to come under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He did not come and die for part of us, but for all of us. We must surrender all our life to our Savior, not just Sunday!
If we truly love our Lord, we will give him all of us, to remake us totally for his good pleasure. My friends we cannot be half in the boat of salvation and half in the world. We must choose this day who we will serve. The goodness of God should compel us to seek him every day in every way! Don’t be lukewarm towards our God anymore, love him with your whole heart! That is how you want to loved is it not?
