God not only created us as a special part of creation to be in relationship with him, but he intended us to the ones who would honor and glorify him. The Bible is literally a story of how God has moved the events here on earth for thousands of years to restore his fallen humanity. When I look at the effort, the love, the patience and the grace God has shown mankind, I am truly amazed by his heart and love.
Our purpose here on earth is to worship our Lord, to do his will. If We finally find ourselves on the his path to redemption, marvelous things begin happen in our lives. The verse today tells us to make the most of our days and think upon the things The Father wants us to do. How about loving like we never have before. How about being people after his own heart who have peace and joy in their lives for they know who they serve.
God intended us for great things through our relationship with him. Let us today seize upon that opportunity and truly prosper in the midst of our loving Lord’s embrace. I want to bring a smile to my Father’s face today and everyday as I strive to please him!
