One of the most common desires of people every where, no matter their race, no matter their economy is freedom. How long has the USA been a dream, a location that represented freedom to others throughout the world. Man’s desire to be free is a God given trait for if we know our Lord we have the opportunity to be truly free. Our verse shows us that if we are faithful to his Word, we know the truth and if know the truth we will be set free.
Free from what you may ask? How about free from ourselves and our self imposed guilt and shame. Free from others opinions, expectations and demands that trap us and strip our freedom. Then we are free to: obey, free to love, free to forgive others and ourselves. We are set free to be who we were destined to be without the shackles of sin and condemnation.
Can you imagine living a life with such freedom? It is possible but only through Jesus who came to save us and set us free! Set the world and all its foolishness aside and find true freedom with the Lord. You will experience something that your heart and soul have longed for and relish your future in such love and grace!
