Transformed by His Loving Grace

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I used to wonder in my younger days of walking with the Lord, how was it that God could see me as righteous even when I was still a sinner. The revelation I received showed me that when God looks at me now that I am saved, he doesn’t see me, he sees His Son- Jesus Christ. God’s grace is simply a gift of love from our Father that provides us with the forgiveness of our sins once and for all. Jesus going to the cross and dying for us all opened the door to restoration of our relationship with God. God sees the righteous of Jesus now when he looks at us so that we can again be his children.

There has been a transformation in my life forever! I no longer live but it is now Christ who lives in me. I now live by the unmerited favor, the grace of God who loves me completely. Every aspect of my life has been impacted by acceptance of my Savior and his sacrifice for me. Each day I am walking in his calling, his will, his love. Now you know there are times I still sin and miss the mark of God’s standard of holiness. But his grace is there for me, new every day to renew me, transform me into who he has called me to be!

You see it is not me any more who lives but me living in this body for Christ. I am a new man being remade in the image of Jesus who loves me. This new man has secured an eternity with God because of the grace he has given me. My prayer today is that you find his grace for your life and be transformed into his kingdom of life eternal.

In Christ
