One of the great features of Christianity is that we who were lost can come to our loving Father just as we are. There are no pre-qualifiers here, just a heart desiring to trust in our Lord. Many people believe mistakenly that there is something that we have to do to qualify, to be given grace by God. Nothing is needed but to accept the Lord as your Savior.
Grace you see is the greatest gift from God who loves us. And as a gift, it is given not earned! By God’s grace we are given the opportunity to be saved, set free from all our burdens and sins. Jesus said come take my burden for it is light!
I want emphasize here, you can come to the Father just as you are. You don’t have to clean up first, change your life or begin great works for God. No, just as you are, with the mess, the sin, the hurt, the pain and the loss. Just come and the Father’s love and redemption are yours. Come find peace and healing that you have longed for! God already knows everything about you, no secrets. So, forget your pride and come to him who can change every circumstance of your life! Don’t wait just come!
