We all believe that freedom is one of the most desirable qualities we could ever achieve. Now the subject of freedom encompasses many different aspects but the overall desire is to be free. We want to be free to go where you want to go, seek a future that fulfills our dreams. But in the larger application to our overall life, freedom , spiritual freedom is deliverance from judgement.
When we gain the freedom offered by God’s grace by way of our salvation in Jesus Christ, we are delivered from many aspects of judgment both within the world and spiritually. We are delivered from judgement of those things of the world, like peoples opinions, worldly expectations and ungodly desires. From a spiritual aspect, the big winner is freedom from judgment that will come to all the world by God himself. By his grace, we have been given freedom from the final judgement and received freedom instead of condemnation to worship him that has delivered us forever.
Judgement is coming friends. There are always consequences to the actions we take. But under God’s grace, we can be set free from all such burdens of sin and live our lives free to seek our Savior. True freedom comes from one place, the Lord Jesus Christ. Through him, our bondages of this world are broken and we are free forever in God’s grace!
