I like many in life have had a few seasons where what I sought and needed was totally different from one to the other. During those seasons I have sought the provision and love I thought I needed. Now older and wiser, I realize full well that there was one I truly needed in all seasons, the one who was exactly what I required. He is the Lord.
When my needs were so different from today’s situations, I still found that what I sought was with him and in him. The one I was seeking was the one capable of meeting my every need. The Lord has no equal and we can find no other that has the attributes and characteristics we will need. Our God is the total package!
The psalmist says he is my rock, never changing, dependable and eternal. He is my strength, my protection and shield. But most importantly, he is my salvation! He loved me enough to pay my price for my sins and turned and made me his son. Nothing, no one has shown me that grace and compassion and had the power to make it a reality in my life. He is truly the one God, above all others, the King and the lover of my soul- the one who is truly worthy!
Seek him- he has everything you will ever need.
