“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:19 KJV
One of the most quoted verses in the Bible, today’s verse, shows us God is indeed our provider. God is staking out ground only he can claim here. He tells us he shall supply ALL our NEEDS according to his riches. Couple of items to note here so we don’t go off the trail: our needs not our wants and his riches which never are exhausted. We as believers are given a glorious promise of provision here that God will meet all our needs. We can trust in our heavenly provider but need to be careful our petitions to Him are not just our wish list.
Every need is met is an awesome promise from our Father. Let us truly seek our Father not just for provision but for all of who he is: his love, his joy, his power, his peace, his holiness. These too are needs in our lives and we should desire this supply to enrich us and transform us. When we are need, God is faithful to meet that need but he first longs for a deep relationship with us first. As his children, he will indeed take care of us.
What a promise of love and grace that we can go yo the Father with all our needs and issues!
