One of the great aspects of being a Christian is that we inherit a new self esteem, a self worth that is driven not by the world’s values, but what God wants thinks of you. We find in our own lives we often suffer from low self esteem. We consider ourselves not worthy for a thousand different reasons. All of which is just a lie spoken to believers to render them ineffective.
What counts in our lives is not what we think, but what our Father thinks. He has placed great worth on every life that has been created. He loves everyone with a passion we cannot understand and struggle to emulate. God sent his Son for us. Think of Jesus on the cross dying for you, not because you deserved it, but because God considers you worth the sacrifice. Think of the gift of the Holy Spirit living inside of us believers, God’s very presence to guide us and strengthen us. Now tell me you are not worth anything, that no one thinks you precious enough to pay a ransom for you!
For we were bought with a high price, you are precious to your creator! Do not spend another moment thinking of yourself as one who is not worthy nor loved. For God has already settled that question for you! Look up and see what God thinks of you my friends!
