“how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.”

No matter what we may think about our lives and our circumstances, we came into this world in need of being rescued spirituality. Past events of mankind have already tilted the equation for us all to an outcome that has terrible eternal consequences. It makes no matter who you are, what station in life you may occupy or whether you are male or female, we were brought into this life in need of rescue. The good news is that we get make the final decision of what we do about our spiritual condemnation. The word tells us “How shall we escape if we ignore such a great salvation”?
This verse speaks directly to the salvation that God made available thru Jesus Christ. If we ignore the reality that Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, we have failed to accept the only salvation that can save our souls. We celebrate Christmas because the salvation of the Lord came on that day to save and set us free. He came because we all needed rescue, redemption. I pray today you accept the true blessing of God’s grace and make Jesus the Savior of your life!
He is available anytime anywhere to dive in the pool of life and rescue you from a spiritual death that has no ending. He does so because he loves us just as we are! If you have already received such salvation, I praise God you are his forever!
