One of characteristics that shows up in a person’s life when they walking with the Lord is a calmness, a sense of peace that occupies their lives. They have come to point where they know that God will be there with them in all situations and he is faithful. So when others are in a panic mode about the latest crisis, God’s people should be able to stand in faith trusting the Lord to handle their affairs. The more I find that I am anxious or nervous about something, the more I know I am not standing on my Lord’s promises.
In this warped generation we live in , people who are at peace with the Lord stand out like a bright light in a very dark world. You can see their strength, their presence operate in all of the circumstances of their lives. While others are yelling and carrying on, these people know where answers and provision come from.
If we can trust our Father with our eternal lives, cannot we then trust him with very details of our lives as well? I believe so with all my heart. That is why my friends we should not be concerned about the small things or even the big things as well. God has it all under control, we just have to have faith in that reality!
