Psalms 46:10 NIV
There will come a time, a day, a circumstance where we have to decide what do we believe. I not talking about the laws of society but the foundational truth we stand on in our lives. At the end of the day, what is it that we trust to deliver us from trouble, our needs, our afflictions. I ask that question because the manner in which you answer will have a direct bearing on the true success of your life.
The verse today says, “ be still and know that I am God.” This a call to all of us to do what is needed for victory in our lives- submit to God! We cannot be still in our lives unless we truly trust something outside ourselves, something greater than ourselves. If we are still dependent on our own strength and ability, we will never find real rest nor real victory. God’s call is simple but direct, submit and find the peace you have longed for, the joy you crave and rest you desperately need!
