There is one thing that can help dictate to us how successful and productive our lives are, our self worth! Many of us have a very low estimate of what we are truly worth. Notice, I did not say how much you have but what you are worth. We can all struggle with things that speak to us and tell us that our worth is not very significant. These are temporal things but not the true test of our worth.
There are two real tests to determine worth. First is what is someone willing to pay for something can determine the worth of that object. Second, what is the history of the object, who owned it in the past or how old is it. Let’s use these two tests on our true self worth. You my friend were bought with a price, a very high price. Matter of fact, that price was so high it has literally rendered you priceless. Second, the One who paid that high price is the very LORD OF LORDS, KING OF KINGS OF ALL CREATION.
Let us do the math here on our worth. We were bought with something so priceless that there is only one of such value. That makes you priceless! Second, the one who paid the price is so exalted, so revered, so special that our being purchased by Him places us in the highest level of existence possible for mankind. Final total for our worth- beyond measure!
Here is another revelation for us. It does not matter what we think we are worth, only what God says you are worth. Since He is all knowing and we are not, guess who is right? Let that sink into your very core- you are worth everything to God. Now you know your true worth. We should begin to seize that fact and live in the freedom of its blessing!
