I have a great relationship with several people in my life especially my beautiful wife. But, that relationship didn’t just happen, it took work, it took time to develop. If you really want depth in your relationship with the Lord, you are going to have to spend time with him. Time that allows communication on many levels for our lives have different seasons and issues. God wants to be the source of your life, your whole life! His desire is to be immersed into every detail of your days and show you what to do and where to go.
We need quiet time with our Lord for no other reason than for him to be able to love on us and for us to do likewise. When we pause in his presence we are renewed and strengthen so we can go on with our dreams, go on with our goals, our hopes. He is the one that makes the way and will provide all we need to be fruitful. With him, all is possible, without him all is a struggle with little hope. We must remain in our Lord and find our life’s wisdom in his words.
Carve out time to be still with God and you will never have to ask “where are you Lord”? Invest time with your Savior and know his good pleasures for you!
