The idea of a fresh start in life is very appealing to almost everyone. Why you might ask? Two factors come into play here. The first is that we humans are prone to mess it up. The it here is everything from relationships to business to family to our lives-everything can be included. When we know that we have fallen short, goofed it up, we would like nothing better than a restart or a do over.
The second factor is our strong desire to live lives that have true substance and are fulfilling. Deep down, we want to know we have made a difference. That is why hope is a very strong motivation for people that life will come to make sense- work out for our good.
When you combine these two factors, you have a human being in search of grace! Something that will change our circumstances powerfully and give us that new beginning. I am not just talking about just one facet of our lives, but our life in total. A life given the opportunity to a fresh start that change everything for the good and glorious of God.
There is only one restart I know of that can accomplish that, God’s grace! I pray today if you need a life make over, don’t go the gym or the beauty shop, come to Jesus. He is just a moment away from the beginning your new life, your fresh start!
