Dealing With Frustration

“And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭28‬ ‭NLT‬‬

We all have had frustration in our lives, it seems to be a part of living just like breathing. We all approach frustration differently but should all be aware on how to deal with such feelings. I have found that a portion of my frustration comes from the decisions I have made or the actions I have taken. There are also daily events that can lead to such feelings which we have no control over.

We can find in today’s verse a great deal of meaning and comfort for us. God causes all things to work together for my good. God takes the negative, takes the frustration and bends it molds it to his purpose so he can use it to benefit us. Instead of just being tossed around by our circumstances, God weaves those issues into a tapestry of learning and growth. I find that I now gain from my frustrations not just get battered by them because I am looking for the good in them God is sending my way. The saying is you don’t have to be thankful for the frustration but be thankful in the midst of it.

God is just not a God of good times but a God of goodness in the bad times as well. Let us trust that the tough times we go through are going to taken by our God and made into his blessing in our lives!

In Christ
