“The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, And his ears are open unto their cry. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: But the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
Psalm 34:15, 19 KJV
Many of us have felt a life without trials and troubles would be a life here on earth that we would desire. Assuredly a life without afflictions would be significantly easier to navigate. But my question would be what kind of life would it be without the ability to grow our faith and trust in our God. I am a firm believer God uses our trials and troubles to mold us, build our faith in him. It is easy to believe something if it is an easy road with no real obstacles to test what we believe.
God wants our relationship with him to one of depth, richness and strength. We cannot obtain such a relationship without a few trials along the way. But, what does the Word tell us about this issue of afflictions? The eyes of the Lord are upon his people and he hears their cry’s. Many are the afflictions of the righteous BUT the Lord delivers us from them ALL.
There is nothing God cannot deliver us from: no affliction, no trial, no trouble in our lives- none! We know we will have issues in our lives so why not seek the one who will enable you to overcome such afflictions. We need to press into our Lord and watch Him deliver us from the troubles we encounter. Along the way, our faith in him will grow so we can truly believe that all things are possible for our God!
