We Should Instill Confidence

“We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

One the traits I love about Jesus is his desire and the ways he instilled confidence in people. His handling of Peter is a prime example. Jesus was patient and deliberate in his approach with Peter telling him of his future and his place snd and purpose in God’s kingdom. Did Peter fail Jesus? Yes he did but even then Jesus restored Peter with great love and compassion.

We would like to have someone in our lives who instills confidence in our ability, our dreams. The scripture today tells us that we “should bear the failing of others, to build them for their good. If we become saints whose love for others stirs us to encourage them in their lives to do good and walk in faith, God will use you to help mold others for his kingdom.

I have had a few people in my life who spoke words of confidence into my heart. Those people helped me to achieve goals and dreams that I have been given. Let us all stir our fellow brethren by speaking words of confidence into their lives and their hearts!
