If we are going to encourage others in their walk with Christ, we need to know important facts. We need to build on strengths not our weaknesses and we must willing to have a heart for serving. Today we see that Paul tells us that God is our strength and our salvation.
Based on the word, we should encourage others in the promises and power of God’s word and the talents others have been given by God. It is those very talents that God will use for the kingdom. We should encourage others with goodness and grace that God has given us showing them the very clear path our Lord has given us to salvation.
We should also understand that taking time to encourage others takes sacrifice on our part. We must purpose in our hearts to take the time and make the effort to help others in their lives. This continues to show us that being that humble servant we are called to be takes our focus off us and puts it on our fellow man. Let us build others in Christ so that they may have the joy we have in serving our Lord!
