Our Expectation of God Should Be Unlimited

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭KJV‬‬

We are taught in the books of the Bible that God is a God of the unlimited. He has unlimited power, unlimited wisdom, unlimited holiness, unlimited love and his unlimited presence. Since OUR Father has no boundaries, no limitations, why do we persist in trying to place such limits on him. Our verse today is a testament to his unlimited glory, “God shall supply all your needs by his riches through Christ Jesus.” Again in Matthew 6 we find his unlimited power and nature by his direction in his model prayer.

He forgives the past, he provides for the present and he promises his future for us. There is no timeframe he has left untouched. His will for us is a glorious extension of his unlimited nature of grace for us. There are no loose ends, no short comings, no surprises in his kingdom, just an Unlimited Good God who loves us.

If we were as smart as we often think we are, we would expect our heavenly Father be exactly who he is, an unlimited God who loves us and is what we need now and forever! Seek him and find his unlimited love for you today! He has more than enough for everyone.

In Christ
