Point of Realization

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭16

When we go to God in prayer, it is we who believe in him asking him to bring a portion of his kingdom down into our situations. Why else would we pray to God about something if we didn’t realize that we cannot do this thing in our own power. If that is indeed the case, why do we then try to manage the resolution for God.

We all know we often can’t wait for the answer so we begin to make one up ourselves. Seems contradictory to me that we ask for his help then step into the process to take control of it. Secondly, we ask for answers that we may not be capable of dealing with at this time. Only God knows how much of resolution you can handle today.

Given we know little about what the true answer should be and when should we receive it, it looks obvious to me that we should let our God control the answering prayer process. We sought him out to deal with something we could not handle. Now let us leave the answers and the timing to him who knows all. This shows two things, our faith in God and our submission to his will. Both are vital for our effective prayer life!
