Are We Willing to Go Off the Map?

“Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭24‬:‭34‬-‭35‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Alexander the Great was a great king and a conqueror of strange lands as well. He was very successful in his efforts to conquer new lands but he often had to trust his vision about new lands before him that had not yet been mapped out. His willingness to go off the map, paid him great benefits. We face the same situation in our spiritual walk with Christ.

Jesus tells here in these verses that his words, his promises will never go away. The great agent of power in believers lives today is the Holy Spirit. Often he may ask us to go off our map of our knowledge and experience to accomplish something wonderful for the kingdom. We truly are the ambassadors of the kingdom of God. As such we may be called to do marvelous things for our Lord. How does this get done if we are already beyond our scope of understanding. It happens by way of the power of the Holy Spirit.

With God’s spirit there are no limits or boundaries. If we want something supernatural to happen in our lives, we have to go off the map and trust God’s spirit to get us there. Jesus said everything in heaven and earth shall pass way but not his word. We are called to higher things by our Lord! We get there by his spirit.

Are we willing to go off the map we are comfortable with and become more than a conqueror thru Christ Jesus?

In Christ
