Getting from one place in life to another takes not only time but effort as well. We label such efforts journeys. We all have been on many journeys in our lives and still have some to navigate. Now some of these journeys we have been on were very enjoyable while others were mired in struggle. Some of these efforts taught us much while others were lacking any opportunities to learn. Each journey is different and each does have a purpose.
Our journey with Jesus Christ is the singular most important journey of anyone’s life. You see a journey with Jesus not only teaches us but transforms us. We don’t just become a better version of ourselves, but we become a new person in Christ. Our journey with Jesus is just not for the here and now but for all eternity. This is THE journey that change everything in our lives for our good and God’s glory. This is the journey that will answer your questions, give you peace, grow you day by day, but will also set you free. I know of no where else, no other destination that can provide you such promises and change for your life and future.
The word says we are being transformed day by day into Christ’s image. It will take time and effort but everything else in life pales in comparison to the glory and goodness you will find with him! Take your first step with him today or continue in your walk with him towards glory but just go. You will never regret the effort nor the things you have left behind. Go with him and be free!
