One thing we have come to know about our world today, it is filled with great darkness, full of lies and deception. The two most used motivations by the world are fear and hate. The world wants you to fear most everything and then tells you who you should hate because of your fear. There is no truth, salvation nor freedom in the message of the world.
But the Word tells us that the battle has already been fought, the victory over darkness has already been won. A risen Jesus Christ claimed the victory over sin, death and the grave. We as believers in Christ have already been assured of our eternal salvation and made more than conquerors thru Christ Jesus! The word tells us that we are now engaged in Christ’s triumphal march and we are used to spread the truth of his love, grace and goodness.
So I have a word for the darkness in this world and the forces behind it, not today! Not today, will your lies and deception pull me away from my faith and life in Christ. We have already won so now we fight the fight of faith to bring the light of Christ to our world!
Like a sweet aroma of victory, we stand in our faith today and everyday. It is so wonderful to be on the winning side!
