God’s desire for us is to be molded into type and shadow of his son Jesus. After salvation, the process begins where we given wisdom, strength and guidance
from God to move us from who we were to who God created us to be. The process can be tough at times as we shed the vestiges of our sin driven self and take on the glory of God’s nature.
There are several tools our Father uses in this rebirth process. First is his Holy Spirit. His Spirit is sent to us to teach us, guide us, strengthen us and to reveal God’s word to us. Without the Spirit, we are fearfully ill equipped to meet the demands of life before us. Second, the Word of God! This God’s living truth to us that we can use to build our lives and future on. The Word contains the answers to life and needs to a vital part of our life in Christ. Lastly, there are those Saints that God provides us to encourage us and to stand with us in our daily trials.
God knows the great benefits that await us as we are molded into Christ’s image. It not only helps us impact our circumstances today but prepares us for an eternal life of worship and service to our ABBA Father. The riches of his love are evident throughout this process because He LOVES US completely!
