One of the great things about true friendships, is that is the midst of doing life together, we get to enjoy and be built up by friendships we are forming and depend on. When friends gather together, there is a God driven chemistry that takes place where we are encouraged and strengthened by the sharing of our testimony and our understanding. We can find ourselves and a unity in the process of building close and abiding relationships.
Paul tells us that one of the best benefits is that we can be comforted by our mutual faith together. When one is in need of direction, compassion and strength, they can find it the walk and faith of others in Christ. I know for myself that I am truly blessed to have others of faith speak such faith into my life and situations. Let us speak life and life more abundantly through Christ to each other so that we may be comforted and built up in our faith.
Scripture tells us to defend the most holy faith we have in Jesus Christ. I will testify that such defense is much easier and much more powerful when done together.
