“After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.”
Matthew 2:9-10 NIV
People of all walks of life have very similar questions about their existence on planet earth. Those questions range from; who am I, what purpose in life am I to serve, what is the meaning of life? Everyone at some point has asked where am I headed. These questions point to our God given character to grasp and understand the real meaning of our lives. This search can lead you to Jesus if indeed you press into the effort to find our real purpose in life.
God created us in his image to be in relationship with him. It was originally intended to be one without sin and suffering. But now, it is one where we as humans must come to know our true status without God in our lives and our desperate need for a Savior. It is in that search for real truth we will find the answers to the what and why questions.
Jesus is worthy of such effort by us to find the truth that will indeed set us free. As the wise men pursued to find Jesus, we need to make every effort to find him for ourselves. The consequences of this search for real truth for mankind have far reaching and eternal implications. If you haven’t found Jesus yet, don’t give up for with him are the blessings of eternal life we hunger for.
Keep seeking the King of all the universe for he is the source of life, of joy, of grace and mercy!
In Christ
