There is power in speaking out words of faith, words of promise. Sometimes just knowing something doesn’t get the job done, we have put that knowledge into action. We need to remind ourselves and speak God’s promises back to him. It is not that he has forgotten them, but he wants us to stand in faith speaking words of affirmation over his promises. He wants to know if we believe in his promises half as much as he will honor his spoken word.
The psalmist speaks these words of faith over salvation, strength. He calls out to God to bless his inheritance which is those who believe in him and to shepherd his flock. These are the blessings of God and He is very interested in if we truly believe his promises. Speak words of affirmation over God’s promises and claim them as yours! Then, act in faith believing his word will come to pass in your life.
