I received an advertisement in the mail about insurance that would cover my home, my cars and any other vehicle or RV I may have. While this happens all the time, this ad got me to thinking about my protection in the sense of personal protection. Who is it that has my well being fore front in their mind and will strive to protect not only me but my family?
Today’s verses show who it is who cares for us and will protect us in this often uncertain world. It is the Lord God Almighty! If I make Him my refuge, my dwelling place, no harm will over take me. The Lord will command his angels to guard me in all my ways. What may I ask can be better than to have your own angel protecting you? I know there have been many times when God’s angels have been there to protect me from situations I may not even be aware of.
There is State Farm who will try to be your good neighbor or the Lord who send his angels to protect me no matter what. This kind of spiritual protection can have no price tag, no expiration date. If I am his, He will be there to watch over me. That my friend is 24/7 protection.
