Manage Your Anger!

“Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭4‬-‭5‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Anger of itself is not a sin. Even our Father in Heaven demonstrates anger when the circumstances demand it. Jesus showed anger when he overturned tables in the temple. But, our anger has to be an emotion we manage and control as much as possible. Our verse today shows us that our love should not be proud, boastful or irritable.

Managing our emotions, our thoughts are a daily experience. The more we create opportunities to manage anger in a healthy manner, the more we will demonstrate God’s kind of love. Yes, the ones we love will be the very ones we get upset and frustrated with the most. Those are the opportunities to manage our emotions and walk in true love.

Perfect love is the kind of love the Father shows us. We should attempt to be Christ like in our behavior as it will produce good fruit in our lives.
Remove the pride, remove the desire to right and make an effort to manage your anger and your life will have fewer moments of regret from uncontrolled anger!

In Christ
